    This is really very helpful article. I have a cat named, Sharon. I had been having trouble with her for quite sometime now because she is leaking all over our the house and every time she does that, I would shoo her and would say something really bad. I never thought that she might be having a hard time due to a Urinary Track Infection. If I had not read this article, I wouldn’t have her sent to the veteriarian for a check. Guess, what? She did have a UTI. Fortunately, she is now cured and what a relief.

    Janey, even though a cat is an animal there are still similarities between human beings. For example, once we get old we are very prone to cancer. A cat is the same. Cats that normally have a white coat are more prone to get cancer from the sun, just like light skinned people.

    I am a cat lover too. They have such unique and independent personalities. I have a cat that seems to know when I am having a bad day. She jumps up on me and purrs. I agree with Janey. Cats are very similar to human beings.

    Kristina, I too have a cat prone to UTIs caused by stones. I have her on cranberry extract supplements once a day and it keeps them at bay easily! Plus–no side effects!

    thanks for this informative website, i purchased a kitten from a home breeder only to find out from the vet that it had all kinds of cat diseases including herpes
    hopefully sites like this can educate cat owners so evil breeders will not be able to profit from bredding sick animals
